Grimoire Bookmarklet

How to use:

  1. Open your game on botc.app with the Grimoire visible.
  2. Click the bookmarklet in your bookmarks bar.
  3. A new tab will open with all interactions for the characters in your current game.

Is this safe?

Yes. This bookmarklet runs entirely in your browser. It simply reads the character names from the page and opens a link - no data is sent anywhere except to this site. Your botc.app session, account, and game data remain completely private and untouched.

Alchemist interaction with Spy

An Alchemist-Spy has no Spy ability and a Spy is in play. After each execution, a living Alchemist-Spy may publicly guess a living player as the Spy. If correct, the Demon must choose the Spy tonight.

Alchemist interaction with Widow

An Alchemist-Widow has no Widow ability and a Widow is in play. After each execution, a living Alchemist-Widow may publicly guess a living player as the Widow. If correct, the Demon must choose the Widow tonight.

Alchemist interaction with Wraith

An Alchemist-Wraith has no Wraith ability and a Wraith is in play. After each execution, a living Alchemist-Wraith may publicly guess a living player as the Wraith. If correct, the Demon must choose the Wraith tonight.

Al-Hadikhia interaction with Mastermind

If the Al-Hadikhia dies by execution, and the Mastermind is alive, the Al-Hadikhia chooses 3 good players tonight: if all 3 choose to live, evil wins. Otherwise, good wins.

Al-Hadikhia interaction with Princess

If the Princess nominated & executed a player on their 1st day, no one dies to the Al-Hadikhia tonight.

The Storyteller can break the game rules, and if executed - good wins, even if Atheist is dead. There are no evil characters in the game with Atheist. If there is no Atheist in play and the Storyteller is executed, evil wins.

If Boomdandy is executed, all but three players die. After a 10 to 1 countdown, the player with the most players pointing at them, dies.

Boomdandy interaction with Vigormortis

Boomdandy killed by the Vigormortis still explodes when executed.

Each day, after the first execution, Butcher may nominate again.

Cannibal has the ability of the recently killed executee. If they are evil, Cannibal is poisoned until a good player dies by execution.

Cannibal interaction with Princess

If the Cannibal nominated, executed, & killed the Princess today, the Demon doesn’t kill tonight.

Cannibal interaction with Juggler

If the Juggler guesses on their first day and dies by execution, tonight the living Cannibal learns how many guesses the Juggler got correct.

Cannibal interaction with Recluse

Cannibal may be poisoned after the Recluse execution.

Cannibal interaction with Recluse

If Recluse is executed, the Cannibal may gain a Demon or a Minion ability, but it's not recommended.

The Cannibal has the ability of the recently killed executee at the moment of their execution, even if their character or alignment changes afterwards.

Each night, Cerenovus chooses a player & a good character: they are mad they are this character tomorrow, or might be executed.

Cerenovus interaction with Psychopath

Psychopath executed by breaking madness plays roshambo with the Storyteller.

Each night, Devil's Advocate chooses a living player (different to last night): if executed tomorrow, they don't die.

Drunk interaction with Undertaker

Undertaker learns that the executed Drunk is the Drunk and not the Townsfolk they think they are.

Evil Twin and an opposing player (good twin) know each other. If the good player is executed, evil wins. Good can't win if both twins live.

Evil Twin interaction with Heretic

Good wins if good twin is executed or only two players live. Evil wins if the Demon and the Evil Twin are dead.

Exorcist interaction with Riot

If Riot nominates and executes the Exorcist-chosen player, good wins.

Exorcist interaction with Leviathan

If the Leviathan nominates and executes the Exorcist-chosen player, good wins.

Each night, Fearmonger chooses a player: if they nominate & execute them, that player's team loses. All players know if the Fearmonger chooses a new player.

Fearmonger interaction with Vizier

The Vizier wakes with the Fearmonger, learns who they choose and cannot choose to immediately execute that player.

Fearmonger interaction with Recluse

If Fearmonger chooses the Recluse, and then nominates them and executes, evil may lose, but it's not recommended.

Fearmonger interaction with Spy

If Fearmonger chooses the Spy, and then nominates them and executes, good may lose, but it's not recommended.

If Goblin publicly claims to be the Goblin when nominated and is executed that day, Goblin's team wins.

Goon interaction with Lleech

If the Goon is selected as host on the first night, they become the host and turn evil but they are not poisoned and they make the Lleech drunk until dusk. If the Goon is then executed that first day, the Lleech does not die as they are drunk, but dies immediately when becomes sober. If the Goon dies after the first day, the Lleech dies too.

If Riot is in play and the Grandchild dies by execution, evil wins.

Grandmother interaction with Leviathan

If the Leviathan is in play and the Grandchild dies by execution, evil wins.

Innkeeper interaction with Riot

If Riot nominates and executes an Innkeeper-protected player, good wins.

Innkeeper interaction with Leviathan

If the Leviathan nominates and executes an Innkeeper-protected player, good wins.

Once per game, if another player nominated, the Judge may choose to force the current execution to pass or fail.

Each night*, a player might die. Executions fail if only evil voted. Legion players register as the Minions too. Most players are Legion.

Legion interaction with Minstrel

If Legion died by execution today, Legion keeps their ability, but the Minstrel might learn they are Legion.

If more than one good player is executed, evil wins. All players know Leviathan is in play. After day 5, evil wins.

Leviathan interaction with Mayor

If the Leviathan and the Mayor are alive on day 5 & no execution occurs, good wins.

Leviathan interaction with Monk

If the Leviathan nominates and executes the Monk-protected player, good wins.

Leviathan interaction with Soldier

If the Leviathan nominates and executes the Soldier, good wins.

Leviathan interaction with Recluse

Executed Recluse may count as evil.

Leviathan interaction with Spy

Executed Spy may register as good but it's not recommended.

Evil wins if more than one good player is executed after the Leviathan enter the play. If the Leviathan is removed from the game and they re-enter the play then the alternative winning condition is reset.

Lil' Monsta interaction with Psychopath

If the Psychopath is babysitting Lil' Monsta, they die when executed.

Lil' Monsta interaction with Vizier

If the Vizier is babysitting Lil' Monsta, they die when executed.

Lleech interaction with Mastermind

If the Mastermind is alive and the Lleech host dies by execution, the Lleech lives but loses their ability.

Magician interaction with Wraith

After each execution, the living Magician may publicly guess a living player as the Wraith. If correct, the Demon must choose the Wraith tonight.

If the Demon dies by execution (ending the game), play for one more day. If a player is then executed, their team loses.

If only 3 players live & no execution occurs, Mayor's team wins. If the Mayor dies at night, another player might die instead.

When a Minion dies by execution, all other players (except Travellers) are drunk until dusk tomorrow.

Minstrel interaction with Spy

Spy may not trigger the Minstrel ability after execution, but it's not recommended.

Monk interaction with Riot

If Riot nominates and executes the Monk-protected player, good wins.

If Mutant is mad about being an Outsider, they might be executed.

Executed good players might not die.

On Princess' 1st day, if Princess nominated & executed a player, the Demon doesn’t kill tonight.

Each day, before nominations, Psychopath may publicly choose a player: they die. If executed, you only die if you lose roshambo.

Psychopath interaction with Psychopath

Psychopath self-nominated and executed plays roshambo with the Storyteller.

Recluse interaction with Undertaker

Recluse, if executed during the day, can be shown to the Undertaker as a Minion or as a Demon.

Recluse interaction with Scapegoat

Evil Scapegoat may be executed instead of the Recluse, but it's not recommended.

Riot interaction with Soldier

If Riot nominates and executes the Soldier, good wins.

If Saint dies by execution, their team loses.

If a player of the Scapegoat's alignment is executed, the Scapegoat might be executed instead.

Spy interaction with Virgin

Spy may be executed immediately if they nominated the Virgin for the first time.

Each night*, Undertaker learns which character died by execution today.

The first time the Virgin is nominated, if the nominator is a Townsfolk, they are executed immediately.

All players know who is the Vizier. The Vizier cannot die during the day. If good voted, Vizier may choose to execute immediately.

Each night*, Vortox chooses a player: they die. Townsfolk abilities yield false info. Each day, if no-one is executed, evil wins.

What is a TAG?

A tag describes what a character's ability interacts with or references, not the character itself.

For example, the Chef can have an Evil tag for their interaction because their ability gives information about evil players ("You start knowing how many pairs of evil players there are"), even though the Chef is a good character.

Tags help you search and filter characters based on what their abilities deal with - this could be alignments (evil, good), character types (Outsider, Townsfolk, Minion), game mechanics (drunk, poisoned, death), or any other game element that abilities reference.

Think of tags as categories that make it easier to find characters whose abilities might be relevant to a specific situation or interact with each other during the game.
